Once your web page is fully optimized, it is time to submit it to the search engines. Fenn Design utilises a special submittal software called, VSE Be Found. Although there are hundreds of search engines on the Internet, only a handful are truly important.
Recent statistics show the top three search engines as:
- MSN
- Yahoo!
• We submit your web site to at least 150 search engines
• We submit information that exactly meets each search engine's specifications
• We provide search engines with exactly the information they need
• We only submit your web page to search engines that accept your content (to avoid being banned for spamming)
• We keep a submit history that records which URL we have submitted when to which search engines
Each search engine has different rules and criteria to determine whether and how a web page is indexed. And these rules and criteria are constantly changing! VSE Be Found helps us to easily find the right title, keywords and description of your web pages so that they exactly meet the rules of the search engines. Fenn Design also has the ability now to monitor search engine updates and periodically adjust your site to keep current and ahead vof the competition.
VSE Be Found analyzes all your web pages and then gives us tips on how to improve them. The VSE Be Found user guide gives many tips on how to design web sites so that they contain exactly the data that is needed by search engines to index your web site.
